Nuffle’s Playground Special Rules
As the will of Nuffle ebbs and flows with no apparent rhyme or reason, so does the weather of Nuffle’s Playground. As Nuffle turns his gaze unto the final moments of violent splendor does the land quake ever more oppressive.
On round 6 of Nuffle’s Playground, (the sixth and last game of the tournament), the following rules apply:
Nuffle’s Playground can be temperamental and coaches must always be on their toes. Upon beginning EACH drive, players must reroll for weather as if they rolled the "Change of Weather" result found on the kickoff table of the Blood Bowl Rulebook.
• This happens immediately at the beginning of each drive and will not conflict with the kickoff event that follows after. (Kick off will be played as normal).
• Order of play works as follows:
• Drive End > Reroll weather > place ball> Kickoff table
• There will be no ball deviation for this special weather roll if perfect weather is rolled
• If the "changing weather" result is rolled on the kickoff table, this just means Nuffle is paying special attention to you! Reroll weather again. (So, weather may be rolled twice on an ordinary drive).
• If a double 1 is rolled for any pick up, or hand-off action, Nuffle’s fury comes out in the form of lightning striking the ball. Roll a D6 on a 4, 5, or 6 the player performing the action (in a pickup) or the player receiving the handoff (in a handoff) is immediately knocked down and an armor check is made.
Turn Times & Sportsmanship
• Turns will not be timed unless requested by the players participating as well as the participating coaches having a timer in their possession.
• If a coach times out on their turn the only thing left they can do is pick up knocked down players and turnover stunned players.
• If there are any disagreements between the players on any and all issues, including but not limited to rules, wasting time, improper dice handling, etc. please grab the attention of your closest ref to arbitrate.
• There will be no “open palming dice” if there is any suspicion of illegal or immoral dice procedure, once again please grab your closest ref.
• Sportsmanship will be noted and awarded by the end of the tournament!
