Tournament Rules: The tournament will be making use of the following set of rules:

The following rules applies to the aspect of the teams:
- The whole team must be painted in at least two colors, besides the base color.
- It must be possible to separate any one position(Thrower, Blitzer, etc) from another position.
- Coaching staff does not have to be represented by miniatures.
Other Rules:
- You only need to bring along your team for the tournament. Dices, boards and range rulers will be available.
- To make it possible for everyone to play all of their games during the duration of the tournament the 4-minute rule will be used.
- All rules in question will be decided by the organizers.
Registration: Registration is as usual made to SydCon but after you have have registered for the tournament please send your team roster to spettcake@rollspelosofen.se. Please write the name of your team in the subject line of the email. The roster may be written directly in the e-mail or in an attached document.
Your roster is put together using the standard rules for creating a team with a starting amount of 1,000,000 gps.

Tournament: All the games in the first round will be decided randomly - all teams risks facing any other team. In the second round the team with the highest TV will face the team with the second highest TV, the team with third highest TV will face the team with the third highest TV, etc. However, no team will play against the same time more than once. This procedure is then repeated in the third round. All teams are guaranteed at least three games.
For every win a team receives two points, for every draw 1 point and no points for loss. No overtime will be played. The number of teams that moves on to the playoffs depends on number of participants but it will be decided by how many points a team has earned during the regular games. If two or more teams have the same amount of points the winner will be decided by the TD-differential, TDs totally scored, CAS totally made, CAS-differential, TV and if a winner still hasn't been decided it will have to be decided randomly.
In the playoffs the team with the most points faces the team with the least points, the team with the second most points faces the team with the second least points, etc. In the playoffs one half of overtime is played and if the game is still tied the game will be decided by shootouts.
Awards: There will be three awards to fight for:
The Spettcake Cup - The greatest prize of them all goes to the winner of the cup.
The Paint Award - The prize goes to the most good-looking team in the tournament(best painted, most detailed, nice conversions, etc), voted by the coaches.
The Fluff Award - A prize that is awarded to the team that best characterizes the spirit of the game(according race, positions, tactics, etc), voted by the coaches. |
