This will be a three round Blood Bowl event using the 2020 rules.
Registration is $15
Registration begins at 11:30AM
Event begins at Noon with 2-hour rounds there will be 15 minutes between rounds for food, dooks, and bathroom breaks, and prayers to VOR the BIG RED ANGRY GOD.
Curse of the Were-Chicken:
At the beginning of every drive, after the kick-off, but before the kick-off event is rolled, a random player on the kicking team is turned into a were-chicken. Remove that player and replace them with a were-chicken with stats as follows:
MA5/ST1/AG3+/PA-/AV6+
Skills: Stab, Claws, Dauntless, Frenzy, Fowl Appearance, Stunty, Titchy, Regeneration
At the end of the drive, if the were-chicken has suffered a casualty and failed to regenerate or has been sent off for fowling the were-chicken is removed from the casualty box and the removed player is placed in the casualty box, otherwise the were-chicken is removed and the player is returned to the reserves box, ready to play in the next drive.
Team Construction:
Coaches will have 1100k to build rosters to spend on players, inducements, and team goods. No star players, mercenaries, or infamous coaching staff can be hired for this event. All other inducements found in the core rulebook and Death Zone are legal, including wizards and sporting giants.
Each Team will be given additional gold by tier that can be used to purchase skills, inducements, team goods, and aide in the creation of the Mercenary Kobold.
Additional Gold Pieces by Tier:
Tier 1 -- 100k
Tier 2 -- 150k
Tier 3 -- 200k
Primary Skills Cost 20k Each and Secondary Skills Cost 40k. No Stat upgrades can be purchased.
No player may receive more than one purchased skill.
No one skill can be purchased more than once by the same team.
Mercenary Kobold Construction:
Players will receive 100k that can only be used to build a custom Kobold by using the Stunty Superstar Mercenary rules found in the Death Zone. The PA stat can not be reduced to receive a discount.
You may spend gold from your main roster and additional gold to supplement your creation of the Kobold.
After creation a Mercenary Kobold may remove the dodge skill in exchange for the swoop skill. The model must reflect this by the addition of wings. (Sculpt, Convert, or Glue on Paper Wings)
Additionally, this player has the extraordinary trait “Tastes Like Kobold”: Whenever a player tries to use the “Throw Team-mate” skill with this player, they gain the “Always Hungry” extraordinary skill until the end of the turn. If they already have “Always Hungry” apply -1 to the roll (and -1 to the escape roll if applicable.)
Win +30
