| Tournament Statistics | Winner | furanzu_68 (30899) | Necromantic Horror | Beginning his NAF career in style, the Haunted necromantic team killed their way to the top table, securing victory over their Khemri competitors with a superior casualty differential |
| Runner up | banjoclan (23507) | Tomb Kings | There's no prize for second place at the Spooktacular Sportsball, but if there was, banjoclan would have clinched it |
| Most Touchdowns | Vice (25799) | Shambling Undead | Taking a break from his usual elfball shenanigans, Vice managed to outscore the rest of the field |
| Most Casualties | ballsmcjuggler (30918) | Black Orc | Including a violent removal of the feared Morg n Thorg in his final match, ballsmcjuggler injured the most players during this tournament, equalling the record of the overall winner |
| Stunty Cup | geek_chef (22623) | Ogre | A victory for the small guys (and the enormous violent guys as well, I suppose..) - one casualty away from being in contention for the most violent award as well |
| Best Painted | Other Awards | banjoclan (23507) | Tomb Kings | Coming in second, banjoclan took home the coveted inaugural Spooky Spooktacular Sportsball trophy |
| Squigmire (25800) | Chaos Renegade | With an almost impervious defence, Squigmire was the most violent coach with the least touchdowns conceded today |

Information |

Three games of Blood Bowl, the day before Halloween, in Everybody's Favourite Bowling Lane Blood Bowl Venue, the banquet room of Evergreen Lanes.
Entry is $5 cheaper for NAF members, and free for NAF members who live outside of the Pacific Northwest (that's right, anyone coming from Western Australia to WA doesn't have to pay to play! We're not going to pitch in for your flights, but you can camp in my backyard if you dare)
Entry includes a special star player. To encourage you to submit rosters in advance so we know how many star players to make, there will be an incentive... more on that later |
Tournament Report |
---|
16 coaches made it to the palatial Evergreen Lanes for the first tournament of the autumn in the Pacific Northwest, with two coming from as far afield as Oregon. After a week of torrential rains, the sunny weather outside was mirrored by perfect conditions for Blood Bowl on the pitch, a great irony after the time spent preparing the coaches with different, spookier and spookier, weather tables for each of the three rounds.
We welcomed six new coaches to their first NAF tournament, including the eventual winner, furanzu_68 coaching a Necromantic team with Bryce 'the Slice' Cambuel adding another chainsaw to an event that prizes dangerous mechanised cutting tools wherever possible. |
