Tombstone Cup III-Rules Pack
TEAM BUILD-1.25 Million Gold
Each coach will be given 1.25 million to build a team (Players, re-rolls, coaches, apothecary, and star players). Each team must have at least 11 players. Star Players are available after 11 normal players have been purchased. You may exceed 2 star players per team for this tournament but you cannot exceed 16 total players. Golden Age players are available! You can also hire the tournament exclusive player: Ike Clanton the Goblin Cowboy as part of your team. Joseph Bugman and Grak and Crumbleberry are also available. It’s the wild, wild, west baby!

Cost: 160,000 Gold for the following teams:
Goblins, Orcs, Underworld, Skaven, Ogres, Chaos Pact,
Ike will play for any other team but the cost is 200,000 gold

Choose one of the following once per game:
1) Ike can sneak onto the field when a player is KOed or casualtied. Place him anywhere on the line of scrimmage not in a tackle zone. No roll needed.
2) Ike can also try to sneak onto the field while the law ain’t lookin (full 11 players already on the field). This must be declared at the beginning of your turn or after both sides have set up for a kick-off but before the ball scatters.
Roll a d6:
1-Caught! Wyatt got him! Ike is out of the game.
2-5 He sneaks in! Place him on the LoS not in a tackle zone.
6-Sneaky! Place him anywhere on the pitch you choose.

1) The player may select more than 2 skills or stat increases but their value (including their original cost) cannot exceed 200k. Stat increases cannot exceed 2 per stat.
2) The player can select one extraordinary skill from the list above for 100k
TOURNAMENT RULES
Games will be played using the NAF Tournament rules which includes DZ 1 and DZ 2 and Spike Magazine through issue 7. You can read about it here ... https://www.thenaf.net/2017/05/naf-and-death-zone-2/
• Illegal Procedure will not be used.
• Turns are to be coaches pace for the first half and the 4 min. turn timer for the second half.
• Tournament dice must be used! And block dice sharing is required if your opponent requests it.
• Rosters reset after every round. This means that injured players are restored to health and players
gained through Raise the Dead are lost. This also means that there are no earnings or Fan Factor increases.
• Models MUST have some form of identification for skills that are purchased onto their players. The TO recommends skill bands, and will have some at the event.
TOURNAMENT PAIRING, SCORING & WINNING
Swiss Pairing: The tournament will be conducted using the Swiss method of pairing. This means that after the first round (in which pairs will be selected randomly, but with an eye toward separating coaches from the same hometown or league), coaches will play against those coaches that have performed most similarly. So the coach with the most points will play against the coach with the second most points, etc. The Coach with the MOST POINTS at the end of THREE ROUNDS will be declared the Tournament Champion
A coach will receive the following points, to be recorded aftereach round of play:
• +30pts Win
• +15pts Draw
• +5pts Loss
• +3 Each touchdown scored.
• +2 Per casualty (Blocks, Stabs, Secret Weapons, Fouls, and Crowd Surfs Count ONLY)
BONUS PTS
• +5 Additional Points - Pitch Clear
• +5 Take out a Wild West Hero. If you cause a casualty on Wild West Hero you get 5 bonus points!
• +1 Per successful foul (KO or casualty)

Daisy Award- Stunty Champion (Stunty Team with the most points)

PRIZES and ITEMS OF NOTE
There will be a TOURNAMENT CHAMPION TROPHY and a PRIZE for the Tournament Winner. All other prizes will be as listed above and points based. This is a share the love event so each player can only win one of the above awards. |
