Below are rules specific to this tournament.
TEAM CREATION
Teams may be purchased using 600,000 GC. You may purchase a maximum of 11 players, fan-factor, cheerleaders, assistant coaches, apothecary and the following inducements: bribes, kegs, halfling chef.
Any gold left unused after team creation are flushed down the drain.
Teams may be selected from any of the 26 NAF approved races.
TEAM CAPTAIN
Sevens teams can’t afford having a coach on their payroll. Instead you will choose one off the players in your roster to act as a team captain. Mark this player clearly.
You may only argue the call if the team captain is in the reserves box or on the pitch. You may not argue the call if your team captain is stunned, is without tackle zones, is in the K.O. box, or has left the game because of suffering a CAS or being sent of by the referee. In these cases, the same effects as having your coach banned in standard BB apply. In addition, the team captain is the only player on a team that can have the Leader skill.
EXTRA SKILLS
After team creation, some teams may give players extra skills, according to team tier. A player may not receive more than one extra skill.
Tier 1: no extra skills.
Amazons, Dark Elfs, Elven Union, High Elfs, Humans, Necromantic Horror, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Vampires, Wood Elfs
Tier 2: 1 extra “normal” skill
Bretonnians, Chaos Dwarfs, Chaos Renegades, Lizardmen, Orcs, Slann, Underworld Denziens
Tier 3: 2 extra “normal” skills
Tomb Kings, Nurgle, Chaos Chosen, Daemons of Khorne, Haflings, Dwarfs
Tier 4: 2 extra skills, one of which may be a “double” skill
Goblin, Ogre
TIME
One hour per match. Coaches are encouraged to use chess clocks or similar devices, however they will need to bring these themselves. Both coaches receive 30 minutes per match. If a coach use up all their time they may do nothing during their turn and the only thing that happens is that all their prone players stand up.
There will be six matches in the tournament, beginning at 9:30 and ending about 18:00, including a lunch break. |
