Creating teams
You get 1,000,000 gp to start a team.
Goblins can buy 0-3 Bribes for 50K and Halfling can buy a Master Chef for 100K.
Other inducements are not allowed for the basic team.
The teams are divided into how strong they are considered.
Tier 1:
Undead, Wood elf, Amazon, Lizards.
80K for skills
Tier 2:
Chaos dwarf, Norse, Dark elf, Necromantic, Bretonnians, Dwarf
100k for skills
Tier 3:
Orc, Elf union, Skaven, Chaos Pact.
120k for skills
Tier 4
High elf, Khemri, Slann, Human, khorne
150k for skills
1 player can have 2 skill progressions.
Tier 5
Chaos, Nurgle, Underworld, Vampires.
170k for skills
1 player can have 2 skill progressions.
Tier 6
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre.
200k for skills
2 players can have 2 skill progressions.
You get a $ value to buy skill and stats depending on one's tier.
The prices are like their skill-value according to the rule book.
At tier 0, 1, 2 and 3 no player must be awarded more than 1 "skill" progression per. player.
Tier 4 and 5 can give one player 2 skill progressions, 6 can give two players 2 skill progressions. At the same time, no player must have more than MA 9. Skills must be "purchased" prior to tournament.
Team development
We play without post-match procedures and thus without winnings and player purchases, etc. All damage to your team is canceled after each match. You start each match with the same players on the roster.
Team Value does not increase with skill allocation.
Put a small sticker on the player's base so you can see who got what skills. Like a sticker on which skills stand
written (eg block).
Tournament
The tournament consists of 4 rounds. In the first round, a random opponent is drawn and then run according to the swiss-draw principle. You get 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a defeat (-1 if you fail from a match, which you will lose 0-2 in both TD and cas). By score is sorted by Score and then by best
(TD + cas) net score. Then TDs for and finally Cas for.
Paint and figures
Playing with painted figures is not a requirement (but we do call for it). The teams that are judged by the organizers as painted (ie all figures and bases are painted in a sufficient standard) will get one card from Good Karma special play card
pile per game drawn before the start of the match.
If you use proxy characters (eg using Human as Woodelf) you can never get this template bonus.
It is also not a requirement that the characters should be original Games Workshop Blood Bowl characters. However, the positions of the figures must be easily recognizable from each other. The organizers also assesses here whether you have a cool theme or whether your team should count as proxy characters.
We encourage you to use color-coded bases. Ie gray / black / no color for the linemen, red for flashers, green for blockers, white for throwers and yellow for catchers. If your opponent cannot recognize the different players from eachother, you MUST allow him to mark your players
in a way that he can recognize them (without, damaging the figure). There are small colored stickers you can use.
Special Play card
If one's team is deemed painted, one must draw one card from the Good Karma pile (Card from CRP, not the new Blood Bowl) to each match. This card cannot be saved for later rounds and must be returned to the pile again after use.
See you
